Low-Carb Snacks – Quick and Easy: Satisfying the Munchies the Low-Carb Way
Hello,
I was wondering about your Keto Desserts, have u been eating the atkins bars, how much and have they spiked or effected ur keto diet in anyway. Im curious since its difficult not eating anything with taste, or deasert type…i recently got into sugar free jello but thats about it and i heard there are zero carb cookies but u have to order them online. let me know. bye kate!
Hi,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. As you can see, I dropped off the blogging for awhile, but I have been thinking about your comment regarding the Adkins snacks. I wonder myself if they have slowed my weight loss.
This past weigh in, I lost 2 pounds. I have been out of Adkins for about 2 weeks. I’m going to eat one a day starting today and see if/how that affects my next weigh in. Of course, it’s not a given that other things may affect the loss, but we’ll see.
Also, regarding need to have something with taste. I heartily agree! I plan to be on keto for awhile, and I definitely don’t crave sugary treats as much as I used to, but I still want something to fill that emotional hole, I guess. I like the 70% squares of chocolate topped with natural peanut butter, and I make the chocolate mousse recipe once in a while. I would like to make that lime jello with cream cheese recipe more often, but it’s a tiny bit more complicated than the other two choices. Please let me know if you come across any other sweet treat substitutes and I’ll post them on my blog.
Thanks for writing and good luck on your keto journey!
Kate
